Trade-In Device Requirements
- Phone must be able to power on and off.
- Phone must be able to access IMEI from settings or from dialer *#06#.
- Display screen is functional and not cracked.
- Must not have any damage, missing buttons, and/or cracked casing.
- Phone must be unlocked and have no security password lock
- For iPhones: iCloud/Find My iPhone must be disabled.
- Phone must be in the original housing. Phone cannot have customized casing. Stickers and other decorations must be removed.
*All requirements MUST be met in order to trade in the phone. DOCOMO PACIFIC reserves the rights to refuse acceptance of any phone.

When can I trade-in my phone?
You can trade-in your phone anytime. If you are an existing customer, to qualify for the 24 month promotional price, you must only have 6 months or less remaining on your existing 24 month contract, or 3 months or less remaining on your existing 12 month contract. However, you can still trade-in your phone without signing a new 24 month contract and the value of the trade-in phone will then be taken off the Retail price of the new phone.
Can I trade-in multiple phone(s) to apply the discount towards a single purchase?
No, you can only trade-in one phone per purchase.
Can I trade-in my phone to get any phone available?
Yes, trade-in value may apply to the purchase of any new phone.
Can I get cash for trading in my phone?
No, you can only get the trade-in value which can only apply to a purchase of an Apple iPhone 6 or Apple iPhone 6 Plus.
Can I trade in a phone from another carrier?
Yes, if the phone is factory unlocked and meets all trade-in phone requirements we will accept the phone.
Do I need to bring in the phone's charger and other accessories?
No, we do not require you to bring in these items and they will not increase the phone's trade-in value.
Can I return or exchange my new phone after trade-in?
No returns or exchanges will be accepted unless the phone is defective.
Can I get the original phone I traded-in back later?
Once phone has been submitted for trade-in, you will not be able to retrieve the phone back for any reason.
Will there be a fee if I cancel my services after trade-in?
DOCOMO PACIFIC Early Termination Penalty Fee Policy applies.
Is there a Security Deposit or Activation Fee to trade-in?
Standard Security Deposit and Activation Fee are required for ALL new activations.

DOCOMO PACIFIC will accept device battery chargers and accessories; however, these do not increase the value of your trade-in. Customers are responsible for cancelling any network service linked to each mobile device. DOCOMO PACIFIC is not responsible for any usage charges arising before, or after DOCOMO PACIFIC's receipt of your mobile device, or arising from any other circumstances whatsoever. Please ensure you remove your SIM card before submitting your mobile device. DOCOMO PACIFIC accepts no liability in the event that a SIM card is included with a mobile device and charges are then incurred. You will continue to be responsible for such charges. Any SIM cards received by DOCOMO PACIFIC with your mobile device will not be returned and DOCOMO PACIFIC will destroy them. You agree to release DOCOMO PACIFIC from all and any claims, losses or damages with respect to any data stored or contained in the mobile device or on any media used in conjunction with the mobile device (whether in the form of personal details, SMS, photos, games, songs or other data). DOCOMO PACIFIC accepts neither responsibility nor liability for and in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is your responsibility to ensure that such data is removed from the mobile device prior to you handing it over to DOCOMO PACIFIC. If any personal information/personal data is contained in the mobile device which has not been deleted when DOCOMO PACIFIC receives it, DOCOMO PACIFIC will delete any such personal information/personal data and DOCOMO PACIFIC shall not be held responsible or liable for such deletion.
