Warranty and Exchange Policy
MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
A Manufacturer Warranty of one (1) year from date of purchase is available for new Cellular and Pager equipment purchases. This warranty does not apply to liquid or physical damage. If equipment is brought in for Manufacturer Warranty within 30 days from date of purchase, DOCOMO PACIFIC will replace the unit with a new one.
If equipment is brought in for Manufacturer Warranty after 30 days from date of purchase, the following options are available:
- Customer may send the unit directly to the Manufacturer. An instruction card is included in the cellular unit box. OR,
- Customer may elect to have DOCOMO PACIFIC process and send the unit out for Manufacturer Warranty. A processing fee of $35 will be charged for service. Fee will cover shipping & handling, and includes insurance for the unit (DOCOMO PACIFIC will replace unit if lost in the mail).
Upon receipt, the Manufacturer shall assess the defective unit and determine the validity of the warranty. Should the unit be found to have liquid or physical damage, the Manufacturer will return the unit deeming it "unable to be repaired." The Manufacturer Warranty does not include repair of apparent or non-apparent defective cellular equipment caused by liquid or physical damage. Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for unit to return from manufacturer.
IN-HOUSE EXCHANGE POLICY
DOCOMO PACIFIC offers a one-time, five (5) business days, In-House Exchange from the date of purchase of cellular equipment. If a customer is unsatisfied with the equipment, the customer may exchange the unit for a different model. If the new equipment is valued higher in price, the customer is responsible for payment of the difference. If the new equipment is valued lower in price, DOCOMO PACIFIC will apply the difference to the customer’s account as a credit toward their access fees or future purchases. The original invoice, box and all items included in the original packaging are required for exchange. The In-House Exchange is voided if there is any physical or liquid damage to the equipment.
- Exchanges can be processed at any DOCOMO PACIFIC Retail store.
- In-House Exchange Policy shall be extended to January 5th during the Christmas Holiday Season for cellular units purchased on or after December 1 through December 24.
- If the cellular unit is purchased as a gift under a Postpaid Activation, gift recipient must be authorized by account holder to facilitate the exchange.
Accessory and Prepaid Equipment
All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.
