GUAMCELL COMMUNICATIONS LAUNCHES BLACKBERRY 8830

THE FIRST CDMA/GSM POWERED BLACKBERRY SMARTPHONE ON GUAM.

GUAMCELL’s network provides BlackBerry smartphone customers with widely available coverage on the island and in areas of the CNMI (Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands). GUAMCELL’s initial offering includes BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, BlackBerry® Internet Service and the BlackBerry® 8830 World Edition smartphone in Guam. With the BlackBerry solution on GUAMCELL’s CDMA network, GUAMCELL’s customers will now be able to benefit from wireless access to email, phone, Internet, text messaging, organizer and corporate data applications from a single handset with advanced security features and exceptional ease-of-use.   • Premium phone features including noise cancellation for enhanced audio performance, speaker independent voice recognition for voice activated dialing, ‘send’, ‘end’, and ‘mute’ keys, low-distortion speakerphone and Bluetooth® to support hands-free accessories.
  • BlackBerry Internet Service support – allows access to up to 10 supported personal and corporate email accounts, including most popular ISP email accounts.
  • BlackBerry Enterprise Server support – integrates with IBM® Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange and Novell® GroupWise® and features IT policy controls for managing smartphone features and usage.
