Guamcell Builds Interactive Showcase For New Futuristic Retail Store

November 27, 2003

Tamuning, Guam - GUAMCELL Communications announced today that it has created an end-to-end solution that bridges the gap between e-tail and retail. The company's new Micronesia Mall store slated to open December 6, 2003, will demonstrate the future of wireless retail through an exciting mix of interactive technology, architecture, and display fixtures.

The futuristic store architecture creates an inviting gallery-style atmosphere. Two 40" interactive plasma screens and two state-of-the-art interactive columns complete with eight entertainment stations are the focal point of the new store.

The entertainment stations integrated into the interactive columns allow customers to access a complete array of product information. This includes rate plans, coverage areas, wireless phones and accessories, Internet and long distance service, pagers, and special promotions. The stations will entertain and allow customers to have self-directed sessions to learn more about GUAMCELL Communications.

"This new approach to retail shopping is a significant enhancement to our customer service," said Kevin Seeker, Director of Marketing for GUAMCELL Communications. "The technology will provide customers with an enhanced experience that makes shopping more fun and simple than ever before."

The public will have a first-hand opportunity to experience this new shopping concept on December 6, 2003, during the stores grand opening at the Micronesia Mall. The grand opening will be a major event complete with special guest appearance by Topher Barretto, discounts on phones and pagers, giveaways and hourly drawings for special prizes.
